Inkjet Label Printers 

Do you have customers that want small quantities of color labels? Save money on die and plate costs by using an inkjet label printer.

Inkjet label printers cost around $3,000 for most models and can print high quality color labels up to 8 inches wide. Print speeds vary from .2 to .8 inches per second when printing in high quality mode. Most models come with separate ink cartridges for black and color inks. You can pay more for multiple ink cartridges, wider label dimensions and faster printing speeds.

The benefit of having an inkjet label printer is that it allows you to print full-color labels on-demand. It does not cost any more per label to print 50 labels than it does to print 5,000. There are no dies or plates, and the printers function like a standard inkjet printer, making the printing process fairly straightforward.
