Brian's Quote of the Month

"...A well run
business will lose 10% of its customers every year due to natural

customers find a better solution - whatever it is, they are no longer

New Printer Program
I.D. Images now
offers thermal printers in addition to our label media. Rather than
simply providing the printers, we have created a full printer
program.
Our program is based around a wide range of printers ranging from
industrial to desktop and mobile. To help educate you and your
customers, we offer private branded sell sheets and comparison sheets
for each model.
We have limited warranties on all printers and printheads, up to two
years on most printers and 1MM inches on most printheads. In addition
we offer a dedicated support line to assist in setup and
troubleshooting for our printers that can be reached at 330.558.8058
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Extra services such as label design, printer training, and printer
demos can be provided on request. Contact us for more information on
our printer program at 866.516.7300.

How To Choose a Thermal
Printer
There are several considerations to make when choosing
a thermal printer. One must take into consideration all aspects of
the future applications in order to find the correct printer.
There are three main categories for printers - industrial, desktop,
and mobile. Industrial printers are intended for long runs and
constant use. They are built to withstand full time printing, and can
be used for sequential barcoding and other industrial duty printing
applications. Desktop printers are intended for regular but not
constant use and are a good option for shipping labeling, point of
sale, and product marking. They can withstand on-demand printing.
Mobile printers are designed for mobile applications such as
inventory, warehousing, and mobile point of sale.
There are models within each of the three categories with differing
printhead resolutions, print speeds, printing methods and printing
widths. Each of these variations suit different applications. As an
example, high print speeds may be required for industrial one
dimensional barcode printing, while high resolution and a slower
print speed may be needed for two dimensional barcodes.
Contact I.D. Images at 866.516.7300 for assistance in choosing the
proper printer for your requirements. Additional information on our
printers is available on our website,
and printers can also be purchased through our online store.
