Company History

I.D. Images was founded in 1995 as a manufacturer of computerized packaging and online printing systems. In 1997, we began manufacturing electronic media labels to complete our line of printing solution products.

In 1999, our two major manufacturing divisions required substantial capital expenditures to fund our growth. A strategic decision was made to sell the packaging product line and focus on label manufacturing.

I.D. Images has grown tremendously from 1999 to 2011. We started with one press and one shift in 1999 and now run presses in four facilities to meet our customers' needs. We were recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in North East Ohio in 2007.

In June of 2007, we successfully completed a management buyout. In September of 2009, we acquired Concorde Labeling Systems in Cincinnati to add to our custom and short-run capabilities. On July 1st 2010, we acquired Specialty Tape & Label, a Chicago based label converter to give us digital printing capabilities and extensive integrated label and card capabilities. We made our the third acquisition in an 18 month period on February 16th 2011, when we acquired Heather Label, a Matthews, North Carolina based label converter. Our company is continuing to expand to better meet the needs of our growing customer base.
